The party started as a very small idea to build my portfolio and to practice weddings during the down season. It started out as a really small idea with only a few friends, but as time went on the idea grew and it became a party. As the days grew closer to the party, the idea got bigger and became a way for me to market myself as a photographer. The mock wedding party included the bride, Erika Hoffman, a local actress in Denver, the mock groom, Patrick Mercado, a local writer, the mock best man was Peter Braam and the mock of honor as she liked to call herself was Jenny Nansel.
