A few pictures of Pure Fashion's Father Daughter Dance. The night was full of activities starting with a speaker for life, a pledge for purity, ideas for dating from a father and daughter's perspective, and swing dance lessons. This was a great night for the father's and their daughters in Pure Fashion!
People, places, things and other interesting views of life shared by the poetic eye of a photographer

Denver Homeless Ministry
Yesterday I had the opportunity of spending time with the Denver Homeless Ministry, which comes together once a month to serve the homeless in Civic Center Park. Many homeless came for hot chocolate, pizza, cup of soup, fruit, hygiene necessities, clothes and coats.
Something I found while there yesterday is that hel...ping other people feels really good. I know that people say that or we seem to know it, but a reminder really set in yesterday. It was nice to be able to give in a way that really helped others.
Anyone is welcome to help out this ministry. DHM is dedicated to helping the homeless in various ways. Get involved if you're interested! Look them up on Facebook under DHM - Denver Homeless Ministry.

Herrera Photography, music and coffee!
Art and music in one night! I'm going to have an art exhibit of some of my photography at JJ's Corner Coffee shop in Frederick, Colorado. There will be music by my dad who is a solo guitarist and some food and wine! Invite your friends for a night out in a really small town:). It will be fun!
Where is Frederick you may ask? Go north on I-25 past the Erie/Dacono exit 235. Take a right at the Frederick/Firestone exit (also a Boulder exit 235). Continue until you have reached the light (Colorado Blvd) and turn left. Take your first right over the bridge and the coffee shop is on the corner in Miners Square Building on the corner of 5th and Oak.
